The World According to Esther

A Summer of Workshops- CT, ME and Quebec!

I’m having a hard time believing that it is really November 6!! The summer is gone. The leaves have started to turn and the air is crisp! I’m even a year older!  It was a whirlwind of a summer because I taught every month in a different place!

New Stuff Brewing!

It’s hard to believe the air has turned and kisses of Autumn are starting to appear! It feels like yesterday I was iced into Winter!  It’s been a whirlwind Summer and I’m working on a couple “in review” posts..  but in the meantime there are lots of new things brewing for the Fall!

Workshoping and Asheville Shenanigans with Lexi

I know I’m going to have more than a good time when my great friend Lexi Boeger of Pluckyfluff fame comes to town!! I’d just come home from teaching at the Tropical Flordia Weavers Guild annual retreat, but I grabbed the wine, hopped in the car and headed up to Asheville for some good Boeger […]

Workshopping on the Bayou

I love New Orleans.  There, I said it. It’s one of my favorite places.  I love the food, I love the jazz and most of all, I love the people.  So when given the chance to come teach there, I needed no arm twisting!

Another Fall, Another SAFF Goneby!

It’s hard to believe it’s November and another SAFF has gone by!   It’s like a roller coaster ride.. the slow tick to the top and a whirlwind fun ride that’s over before you know it!! And what a ride it was!  Full of yarn and sheep and bright leaves on the mountain, with a little […]

Summer Adventure Part 2- Stitches Midwest and Twist Festival

The second part of the whirlwind summer adventure was spent in Chicago and then French Canada!  We played with yarn and fiber at Stitches Midwest, then played with more yarn and fiber at the Twist Fiber Festival- with more playing with yarn and fiber, and a few museums and shopping in between!
