I love books! We are so lucky in the fiber art community, that we have great books being published both in actual “book” form, and digital format
Ah Maryland Sheep and Wool. It’s that festival we all love and hate at the same time. SO good to see friends, pet sheep, drool over fleeces.. but NEVER enough money to buy all the pretty, yarny, shiny things we want to fill our studios and stashes!! This year was no different…
What a summer it has been! Full of amazing of travels, yarn and fiber! HUGE Adventures around every corner. First I was in Copenhagen and Holland, and then only 3 weeks later, Vithard and I taught a cruise to the Bahamas!
I think I’ve said that I’m lucky. I have amazing friends that are creative and inspiring and wonderful teachers. Sometimes, I get the wonderful honor to co-teach with these amazing friends. My workshop in Holland was one of those times.
I’m lucky. I don’t take it for granted that my friends are spread far and wide, so when I “have” to go overseas to teach, I also get to mix in the fun of spending time with friends that I don’t see often enough (off my Skype screen).
We always have a great time at SAFF in Asheville! This year was no different- in fact it was even BETTER than usual since we were joined by friends from Picasso’s Moon Yarn Shop and Carolina Fiber Company
YES, it’s for REAL! We’re heading out to SEA this Summer on a Fantasy Fiber Cruise! There are knitting cruises, spinning cruises, felting cruises. but never one that’s everything together- until NOW!
I’m so excited because just had my big “TV” debut! Yesterday I was in Asheville filming for WLOS ABC Asheville’s news segment called “Craft Corner.
